OUT NOW: K.lust – Slow Down | AV-K prod. [AVK003]
Slow Down is the second K.lust release, a beat oriented project by Anacleto Vitolo. In continuity with the previous album “Liven”, Slow Down focuses on the concept of cyclicity in human civilization, referred to the modern world and the critical issues of today’s society. Hypnotic rhythms as a metaphor for the alienation of nowadays and historical courses (and recourses) in cyclical repetition. The sounds, in this new chapter, become more obscure and present themselves as a cross between the previous K.lust album and the sharp and dirty sounds of the AV-K project, in an ideal match between tribalism and modernity.

OUT NOW ON AULICUS CLASSICS [ALC 0015]
ANACLETO VITOLO : OBSIDIAN
“Vitolo surely has some fine variation woven into the fabric of his pieces, ranging from modest to loud but more typically somewhere in between both ends, but he likes his music to be very present; there is quite some detail to be spotted in this music, yet it is also sonically rich. Quite a fine release, this one” [Vital Weekly]
“Altogether the album is a vast collection of many possible points of view over the intersection between man and machine, where every piece a fulfill a precise functional purpose in the shaping of a conscious and satisfying dramaturgy that keeps the listener engaged from top to bottom.” [Toneshift.net]

ANACLETO VITOLO | SERGIO ALBANO • AVSA || PARALLES
“Parallels” is a speculation about time(S) and its perception.
The founding Concept behind the album is the existence of different “timeplanes” (and related sound, of course) at the same time, the perceptions of those planes from several subjects, both individually and jointly, and about the complexity of the whole sheaf of time planes with their own sound apparatus.
The Album is born from the collaboration between Sergio Albano (Amklon, Grizzly Imploded… ), who is the author of the whole sound sources (guitars, synths, microphones, objects, etc.) and Anacleto Vitolo (AV-K, K.lust, Internos, X(i)NEON, Manyfeetunder ), responsible for the processing, re-synthesis and arrangements of the sound sources.

GIANLUCA FAVARON | ANACLETO VITOLO : ZOLFO
Gianluca Favaron | Anacleto Vitolo : ” Zolfo ” [sps1616 | mfu/c 010]
“This is the thicker, busier end of the electroacoustic spectrum… I call it particle accelerator music (PAM), as it sounds like agitated atoms.”
“This is the kind of music that is very ‘now’, combining a variety of musical interests that seem, at least theoretically, wide apart, such as drones, musique concrete, electro-acoustic music, and a bit of looped rhythms, so that it is never really one thing or another. And that I think is great; it is the modern variety of serious electronic music, but without being all together too serious.”
“Arte dura e concreta come il suono che producono, subbuglio oscuro e immobile pace. INFRASOUND.”
A felt, wanted and very successful collaboration, for an high-level album – 8/10
“Zolfo” emanates real moving images, cinematic textures built with skill through the virtuous collaboration between two talented artists. Surrender yourself to the inevitability of their sound.
“Zolfo” is born by the collaboration between Gianluca Favaron and Anacleto Vitolo. Both involved in many projects and music collaborations – Favaron with Corrado Altieri, Deison and in groups like Lasik Surgery, Maribor, Zbeen and Under The Snow; Vitolo with Doublebass player Francesco Galatro, Viola player Michela Coppola, Domenico Stellavatecascio (Internos) and many other.
The album was composed, recorded, and mixed between January and May 2016 and is a mix of several music elements and techniques, such as tape loops, cymbals, microphonic works and live electronic processing. The result is a combination of musique concrète, noise and drone music.
